RAM® B Size refers to RAM Mount components built around the 1-inch ball system. A typical setup consists of a mounting base, a B Size double socket arm and a compatible device holder or adapter.

This modular design is one of the key advantages of RAM Mounts. Rather than replacing an entire mount when your requirements change, you can often swap a base, arm, or holder while keeping the rest of the system. RAM® rates the B Size system for devices up to approximately 0.91 kg in standard-use applications. For heavier devices or installations exposed to higher vibration, a larger RAM® ball size may be more suitable.
